Branch social meal @ The Ship
Sep 9 @ 7:30 pm

Further to the recent branch meeting of Wednesday 10th August, Tim has booked the dining room at The Ship, Brandon Creek for our branch social meal on Friday 9th September. 7.30pm for 8pm.

There will be a band in the bar from 9pm. The Ouse Valley Singles Club are described as New Wave Skiffle, combining skiffle with punk and rock ‘n’ roll and adding some naughty, saucy lyrics. They go down well everywhere they play.  The Ship suggests this is more suitable for 18+ only.

This meal is open to inviting guests , as we do for the branch Christmas meal.

The dining room holds 30-35 persons, but more can be accommodated elsewhere in the pub or even outside if you wish.

The venue is The Ship public house, Brandon Creek, Downham Market, Norfolk PE38 0PP and is easily seen and accessed from the main A10 road between Downham Market and Ely. If anyone needs further directions please contact Tim.

If anyone would like to make a ride out for this, please contact Martyn Guest martynguest@tiscali.co.uk or on 07799 326258.

The menu is attached.  http://www.theshipbrandoncreek.co.uk/ship-inn-brandon-creek-menu/daily-menu/ As stated at the top of it, any special dietary requirements can be accommodated so we suggest you phone The Ship on 01353 676228 to discuss this with them. Mention you are part of the group booking Tim made for the Norton Owners Club. Deserts can be chosen on the night, so we will just have to go with what they have available at the time.

The Ship would like to know our meal choices beforehand so they can prepare and distribute the meals with minimal delay.

If you would like to partake in this social gathering, please advise you are coming and your meal choices to Tim by 31st August. Use email link above or ring on 07889 649591 evenings please
